What Do We Know About Budica?
Budica is a british queen. She's the queen of the icene, who are in modern east anglia. The only sources we have about her are roman or from the roman world. They don't represent the romans in a particularly good light here. Soit's very interesting what we know about her - which is not as much as we'd like to she's sort of fascinating because,. partly because we fill the gaps and she becomes this folk hero and a symbol of ancient unity.
