The French Revolution in Paris
All around central paris, law and order was breaking down. A large crowd gathered at the place de la bastille on the east end of town. This growing crowd planned to march on the city centre but they were blocked by a phalanx of soldiers and police. In fact, as had happened the night before, the un est in the streets was cleared out.
