I Wish I Was the Rain

Jupiter Paulson was a 14-year-old skateboarder who was murdered in New York City. Her father played her poem "Rain" on local radio after she died and the National Justice Party used it to make common cause with like the worst political party in the English speaking world right? It does not strike me that the young woman who wrote that poem and recorded it and put music under it would agree with that perspective, but yeah I can't say any more than that.
