i think that when you have a policy that seems arbitrary and meaningless and groundless, like there's no evidence for why it is happening, that creates incredible resentment and distrust. i sometimes, i even think about it lik own home, i have different places that i go to do different types of work. And so that sort of thing would make sense. There's some work that is best done in these more collaborative spaces with other people, that demands presence,. Then there's other work that doesn't demand that that people be free to do wherever it's free and safe for them to do it.
