In the united states, many colleges mandate a 20 year old college boy get the third dose. That's an age group where the risks are much lower. I don't think there's any credible evidence that somebody who had covet and recovered, and getting a booster in the aftermath, has a subsequent reduction in severe disease or death from getting covet again.
