Not Memorizing Large Banks of Stuff

Not memorizing large banks of stuff is common among people who are high up on the drivest scale. I very rarely will aggressively memorize things, but i used to program in c plus plus and i used to have probably at 90, 95 % of the m f capi committed to memory. And it was profoundly useful for things like, i didn't know design patter. Hadn't heard of design patterns yet,. But i'm content with tth, that spider sense that says, there's something here that i don't know, but i know it exists. See, i'm comfortable with the sense that i have when i, you now, confront something like that.
