Dr. Dabrock: Industry sponsorship is really necessary for successful completion of long-term clinical trials and rare diseases like PAH. Both were performed with appropriate oversight, steering committees, involvement of clinician investigators who also had access to the data. I think they both really had a huge impact on the field of pulmonary arterial hypertension.
