In the mid-aughts, it kind of becomes sport in a couple places online to make fun of bad Scott Adams posts. So he starts to make fake accounts on meta filter and Reddit under the pseudonym Planned Chaos. He pretends to be someone else defending himself because apparently his rational fans aren't like good enough to actually do the job for him. If an idiot and a genius disagree, the idiot generally thinks the genius is wrong. That's how the idiot mind is wired.
