The Oracle of Delphi

The Oracle of Delphi also shows up planting the writings of Greece, possibly first historian Herodotus. King Crazus wanted to test which Oracle could be considered reliable and which ones were fake. He sent messengers to a whole bunch of Oracle asking what he was doing on an appointed day that would fall exactly 100 days after his messengers had left the court. So for the sake of a void in lacking some lucky guess on the part of some Oracle, he chose to do something so weird and so outlandish that no one could randomly guess it. And the Delphic Oracle said: I know the number of each grain of sand at the bottom of the sea.
