The Dignified Man

The dignified older man does not have a feeling of immortality or invincibility. He's buried people he loves, seen terrible things and has decided to spend his life well. His heroes are men like the Apostle John who church history tells us in his older years had to be carried up to the pulpit. They know that God is good so they trust that he'll somehow repurpose every event in their lives for God's glory.
