The Sons of Zebedee

The sons of zebedee were the two fishermen who left their dad in the boat when jesus said, follow me. They abandoned him, but mam didn't. Their mam's been on the road too with them. And ther mam stayed faithful and stayed with jesus all the way through. It's very significant. Matthew highlights these, and he higlights them as they're going to play a big role in the story to follow. Jesus was not the first a jewish man to be crucified by the romans,.
