DSM - Inattentive Subtype
The inattentive subtype of ADHD is called adt. The dsm likes to have lists of symptoms, not just difficulty in attending. There are a lot of co morbidities that could cause some one to have difficulty in attending and then they would fit the list. So why don't everyone get a diagnosis of abht? Well, that's because we have this rule when we diagnose, that if something explains the clinical picture better, then a, you know, the other diagn sis is not needed.
