The Stoics, You Know?
Stoicism is a tradition that, even just in the ancient world, was a very active and very flourishing for more than half a millennium. The overwhelming majority of stoic texts come from seneca, epictatus and marcus aurelius. We know about te them because of either what other stoics have said, you know, quoting them or what other people who were sympathetic or sometimescritical of stos had quoted them.
