"I had to kind of start from minus 20, where I had to rewire my brain completely," he says. "Yes, I did spend a year locked up in my room with my tablet, learning how to draw up to paint." He was at least 10 years older than most of these kids on forums and felt like an old fart. But then he realized that putting hours in learning really pays off.
