Aristotle and the Human Soul
Abu Barakat was keen to stress his independence of mind. What then were the issues on which he felt the need to make like a lonely baseball player and strike out on his own? We'd need quite a few episodes to answer this question fully, but I'll mention ideas drawn from his physics and his views on the human soul. The difficulty at any rate is explaining in detail why the stone moves up as far as it does before beginning to fall.
