Mary barton spoke on a 19 60 b b c programme on donor insemination. Do you know how many children have been born as a result of the idea in your work? I had, up to he end of 19 58, 435 400 and thir five. The clinic remained open for another decade. There was another doner than wisner, but he stopped after fathering 100 children. Wisner kept going, fathering an estimated 600 children,. Some talk of a thousand. So far, around 50 people have discovered their wisner's offspring. But it's getting a bit big now. You see them on zoom, because, yeu can't be close 50 people
