The Interpretation of Nature, Is What Bacon Means

Bacon used the word interpret in a very different way to modern meaning. Popa says Bacon meant reading nature as it is, or better still spelling out the book of nature was what he meant. The translation should be replaced by something like the true reading of nature - analogous to thetrue reading of the law. popa doesn't believe that Bacon's method of induction resulted in knowledge rather than conjecture.
