The Creator's Tool to Motivate Us to Satisfy God's Will

Christianity is a two creation model. God creates a universe with certain laws of physics that guarantee that everything decays. So spiders died in the garden and in the age to come. They'll die. The more sin we humans commit, the more work we have to do to undo the damage. And notice our biology works in such a way that none of us enjoys extra work, extra pain or wasted time. But God is there to trade his moral perfection for moral imperfection.
