How Did You Find Philosophy for Communities?

Philosophy for communities is a way of getting people thinking and talking together, philosophizing as we all do in our lives. I was really struck by my son's experience that he as part of a youth group, they inquired into a story,. And the depth of their understanding where they'd got to with this, it just fascinated me. So i did some training to be philosophy for communities facilitator. Then i discovered something called philosophy in pubs, which is doing this in the pub. And so i started the sheffield philosophy and pubs group about three years ago. And through various different bits of community work, i've been trying out doing philosophy for communities in pubs, with community groups
