The Legacy of the GLC in London

In the 90s, you could just go to a municipal festival almost every weekend. It would just be a festival in a park somewhere in South London or East London or North London. But was always supported by the council. And that was a direct legacy of the GLC in London as well. So there is something sort of magical about parks. They are so good. I mean, just thinking about what we went through with the pandemic and if we did not have parks, I mean, fuck it now.
