When doing a PhD, you get to mix with incredibly bright individuals from all over the world. It's a fabulous opportunity and it's not something that many people can get access to. The idea that you have these type of brains, that they see like a chess master 12, 13 moves ahead while the rest of us are trying to work out maybe two, three is crazy.
