Kafka Streaming
Roku stick can actually decode things to DTS, HD plus or whatever the things that it supports. But it will pass along the original stream information. So if you do have something that's capable of doing atmos or whatever, that Roku will actually pass it along and it will get picked up from it. By default, you can send messages up to one megabyte in size to Kafka and it'll write it. If you send something bigger, it'll basically blow up and won't write it because it's like, Hey, I can't do it. It's just not going to write the record.
