Kern Family Foundation Pastors Conference
Theme: Character Formation
July 6-7, 2010
In session two of this 4-part 2010 series, Dallas emphasizes the centrality of knowledge to the Christian life. The historical drive against this view of Christianity is part of a battle for authority over public life. We have allowed our beliefs to be treated as “just faith” and need to reclaim the importance of the knowledge of reality that is contained in the teachings of Scripture. This is where we find the best answers to the Four Great Questions. The answer to the fourth question (how to become a good person, leads into a discussion of the makeup of the human personality and where our actions come from).
The overhead transparencies Dallas used in this session are collected in a document you can download here: https://dwillard.s3.amazonaws.com/Kern-Character-Conference-2.pdf
