My Mom Is Dead, She Will Die Again

My mom passed, as you know, more than two years ago. And everybody in our family has been in their own way clinging with the odd exception. My dad fell in love with somebody new, who was very much like my mother, but her own person. When death comes along and announces that you must move on, your mind goes back to a place of childhood and magical thinking.
