The Importance of Love in Music
I encourage people who are making music to remember that the reason for making music is that you love music. For probably every musician out there, the reason they're playing music is not because when they were five years old, said, I want to discover a better envelope generator. No, I mean, we moved by a piece of music. And so the only thing I would say would be remember what it is emotionally, what moved you emotionally in the first place. Don't forget about that ability to move people to change the world with the emotion of music.
