In the final winter of world war two, german civilian population centers fell into the cross hairs of the royal air force. Far away to the east, tucked along the picturesque river elba, the people of dresden had no idea that their death warrant had just been signed. According to saint clair mac kay, the new bombing strategy would be aimed directly at the bodies and souls of the ordinary people to achieve maximum moral effect. And so in the last spring of the war, i could no longer find any excuses, for better or worse. The gloves were off.
