Why Applescript Isn't Getting a Fair Shake

I really feel like applescript doesn't get a fair shake from a lot of people. For non programmers, it might make their life easier but for people who are used to very specific language to declare variable, it can make them crazy. But i understand where they were coming and i feel like that was one of the early attempts to bring audimation to the masses. Yeand the thing is, a, for people who aren't in program or cultures, every language is reviled by somebody. Ten the people who revile the language are usually pretty vocal about it.
