Is There a Ugly Idea of Utopia?

The idea of utopia is hard to realize or even incoherent. That suggests that we know a lot less than we might think we do about what we want. If in general when we humans try to imagine at least what we want, then we find that imagining in more detail Tells us it isn't what we want and we keep getting stuck that way. It's not just someone person who found that one thing wasn't exactly what they wanted and they also wanted something else. We have some deeper troubles with Knowing what we wants.
