What Is Intersectionality?

This is a black guy, I'm assuming. That's right. But he's also being really honest, and he's looking to you for... He's trying to understand, but for him, these are totally separate things, and he feels like it's muddying. And so intersectionality is this idea that are different identities in the different ways that people experience oppression, that they can be interconnected,.That can reinforce one another. They're not wholly separate, and we can think about them in those terms.
