How to Arrange 500 Squares in a T-Shirt

The best solution that you could have is an area of 6.29 square centimeters. That's if every region is 30 centimeters wide and two millimeters high. So on the front, you would have 233 incredibly long, skinny regions stacked one on top of the other. And then on the back are the other 267 stacked one ontop of the others. But it's only if you maximize the amount of area. You're going to need 10 by 23 for the front and 10 by 27 on the back.
