The European Union's Transition to the Euro

The Euro was a surprisingly large step for the European Union to take. Not only logistically but also to incentivise economies to use it. There were some nations that opted out of this currency thing though. Most notably, the United Kingdom who wanted to hold on to their great British pound. In 2016, England decided to leave the union altogether.
