I think that we're watching a period in which art in its transformation into becoming purely a financial asset, which is untethered to any critical discourse. If we extrapolate out this curve of increasing political instability, increasing parts per million of carbon up in the atmosphere, institutions coming under attack from activists. I see a possibility where museums are going to be under such pressure that they will have to close to the public to protect their artworks. And then this will become the final nail in the coffin for many museum mission statements,.
