In various different cultures the placenta is held in high esteem. It's kind of interesting how we tend to just throw it away as something we don't need anymore or label it as a toxic waste yeah which actually what happens is then it gets used in something like cosmetics or pharmaceutical products. The word cannibalism has so much weight and baggage and weirdness around it but I think part of why it is so weird is because it has a sacred root, he says. He adds that perhaps even all other matter in some way is created out of water like that water not only was previous prior existing you know the face of the deep was already there the waters were already there.
