The Tory Government's History
Cameron managed an overall majority at the next election in 2015 but it was tiny. Dick Clegg and others facilitated a radical Tory government, even though the Tories didn't have an overall majority. Then Theresa May had another go to get a bigger majority in 2017 and failed altogether. That's the election that's been airbrushed out of history because it didn't go the way the commentators had expected. And there was no overall majority for the Tories. But note the patents, they were erratic and lacked any deep thought about what Theresa May said during that first period in opposition after the 97 Labour landslide. They see us as the nasty party. Now she didn't say we were the nasty party
