The Future of Artificial Intelligence

Yavall Noah Harari wrote a book called Homo Deos, which paints a very dystopian view of the future about the terrible things that artificial intelligence is going to do. The development of full artificial intelligence could spell and end and spell the end of the human race. It would take off on its own and redesign itself in an ever increasing rate. Humans who are limited by slow biological evolution couldn't compete and would be superseded. Ray Kurzweil says us writing AI that writes better AI is the next step in human evolution.
