What's the Difference Between a Teacher and a White Kid?
Sally Kohn: The language of the bill seemed to vaguely ban anything that could make people feel uncomfortable by race. She says it seems like there was a deliberate or not, there was real misinterpretation of the s bill. Kohn: Just learning the fact of slavery could very plausibly make a white kid feel, for instance, guilt. And in a good, rigorous education, you may feel all of those feelings, and it may be actually a really good thing in your development.
