Is David Stern Still a Mets Manager?

Craig Council is the longest tenured manager in the National League with one team at least I think third in the majors after Terry Francona and Kevin Cash. It remains to be seen if he does accept the job like that, but my guess is it's going to be in the negotiations that he can get himself some sort of leeway. He has a couple of daughters who are growing up as well - his oldest son is playing in a tournament actually in suburban Phoenix here.
