What Is Charity Before Eucharist?
The Eucharist involves the increase of charity. St. Thomas speaks about that eloquently on, or in quotation 12,. Basically, he talks about the fire of charity being stirred alive more fully. If we have the opposite of that charity, the opposite of communion with men and women, we have a lack of communion with Christ. The unity of the mystical body is the fruit of the true body received. It's the unity of the church, the corpus mysticum, is the Fruit of the True Body.
