The Dematerialization of Our Daily Lives

The things that used to mediate our everyday lives have kind of just really vanished, right? Dematerialized. We don't have the material objects so much anymore. And I actually think that's one of the latent dynamics behind something like Instagram or selfies is that we now need to explicitly mark moments.
