The Effects of Overtraining on Crossfitters
I used to be really, really over-trained in a crossfit. I had almost two years out of the ring and didn't even know if I'd fight again. At one point I was on eight different medications. And so for me, I became obsessed with how do I get better without just taking another painkiller or taking another thing that could be dangerous or have side effects. So yeah, really opened up my mind and world to functional medicine, which kind of takes a little more holistic approach. It's how it's the birth and genesis of the company. Because ultimately, what I want the rest of my life to be about now is helping other people get out of pain.
