The Sclerodium Is a Mackerel Fructification

The reason it was tough to cultivate wild morels is because of an extra step, and their light. The sclerodium can either form new micelium, the root like network of underground filaments,. or they can form a fruiting body, which is the above ground mushroom. There's a whle apple tree underground, but now and then it sticks an apple up above the dirt.
