What Is a Year?
The age of the universe equates to 13.8 billion years, but we could measure that in Venusian years or Hussein Bolz runtimes. A year is a totally arbitrary unit of time; other planets have different year lengths on Venus a day. The ultimate quantity is the same no matter how you measure it.
