The Importance of Originality

I'm not terribly worried about the person that comes to me and says, boy, I had this great idea. The ones I'm worried about are the ones who just take for granted what their fantasy setting will be or should be. And so there's a balance here. You can't be hampered by your own fear that you're not going to be original. Well, and on the other side is the problem of people who are just desperately original and trying way too hard.
