The Sum of the Life of a Professor
"I was that guy who wanted to be a professor. And then, like, through both experiences i had, and like, matters of circumstance, i didn't want to any more," he says. "There's a book called the professor's house by willa cather. It's really good, but i've never read a more appropriate book." He adds: "Being a professor just makes you lonely and suicidal,. You just sit in a room and look out a window, write books and then eventually die alone like that".
