In 19 70, hungary's population was about ten point three million. In 20 20, it had fallen to nine point seven million. By comparison, the us, population in that time went way up - from 205 million people in 19 70 to 330 million people 50 years later. We often joke about living in a bit of a catholic bubble. Because of that, i think it's quite normal among many of the people we we know, to have a tree, no, to have te kids. Yer, four is pushing it. But then again, ike, having kids for the government perks are just like part of the culture.
Hungarian PM Viktor Orbán traveled to Texas for CPAC this week. Back home, he’s trying to fight population decline by paying some citizens to have more kids. But a real solution involves one weird trick Hungary — and US conservatives — hates.
