Can't Law Enforcement Seize Text Messages?

He says all he todo was ask with a warrant. But instead, the fbi stopped him and ceized his phone without warning. Now i have a question, how much information is on the phone that's not in cloud or in the internet? Is there much? There may be only on your phone.
