Don't Give Kids Money
You have to be very careful not to scrup your kids, or, even more dangerous, your grand kids. One guy just gave the kids money, and you know what he got back for it? Nothing. Ungrateful. Didn't like him. So i don't think it's inherently bad to give the kid money, but i would look at it more as an investment than a gift. Cause a gift, by definition, is a gift. They can do with money whatever they want. You can't really complain to give somebody a gift. It's theirs.
