Chandis Clinger's Robot Tree

Chandis clinger has been working with plant pathologists to find resistance in trees. He had no formal training in forestry or pathology, he was the doctor of a medical doctor. Chandis clinger cut up industrial sized tin cans and made almost like a suit of armor that covered the entire trunk of the tree. The chinese chestnut is more resistant to blight than the American chestnut.
