Is There a Race to Be Weak?

Theory is that christianity came out of being an antithesis to the roman philosophy. Romans were about strength and power, so a lot of people in the empire weren't doing well. Being weak just meant you sucked and the gods did not love you,. i think potentially because we try to deny it, are a largely christian based country that that thought process and belief system gets into there.
