Sasso Community Rituals

Rituals are as Kenyan as, you know, on a weekend like Friday, Saturday, Sunday is either a wedding or an outdoor in a funeral. So for me, rituals are already like an everyday experience, right? And Sasso as I did this project are so centrally involved in rituals in spite of the very heteronormative nature of these rituals. The ritualized space really becomes a space where you can be feminine, maybe because your labor has been exploited or maybe because in that space and that space alone, your labor or you are as a sassosina someone with a talent, right?
